That would allow it to remain memory-less. This would allow the bot to note the bot message you're replying to, parse the information contained therein (because you set up the format of that message), and then produce the updated clock. Maybe replying to the message that had the most recent version of that clock? You could just reply /tick or /tick N (where N is an integer that is the number of ticks you want to tick at once). The bot has been verified by discord and is fully implemented using slash commands. It returns the results of every die in the pool, the actual roll result, and the text snippets from the book like:Ĥ/5: You do it, but there’s a consequence: you suffer harm, a complication occurs, you have reduced effect, you end up in a desperate position.” It supports position/effect, 0d6 rolls, and recognizes criticals. It defaults to 1d6 and (where applicable) risky-standard for rolls. The random generation tables from the book are implemented allowing you to quickly generate descriptions of NPCs, Demons, Ghosts, buildings, streets, scores, and even leviathans and their spawn (based on the official Leviathan’s Song supplement).Īlso, when some people posted complaining the dice roller bot was no longer active, I implemented all of the dice rolls used in Blades in the Dark. Before you have to write something, you can try my discord bot Sparkwright, I’ve posted it here a few times.
